OpenADR 2.0b is a full-feature specification for complex energy management solutions supporting automated demand response (DR) and distributed energy resource management for both wholesale and retail programs. Released in July 2013, OpenADR 2.0b builds on OpenADR 2.0a and the earlier OpenADR 1.0, which has been supported by Powerit Solutions. The OpenADR 2.0b profile specification is designed for more sophisticated devices and will support most DR services and markets.
